How Purpose Coaching International came to be.
PCF began as Purpose Coaching International, out of a simple conviction: most people go to work every day without anyone helping them ask why. Capable professionals, managers and young people were doing well on paper and feeling lost underneath. Honest coaching conversations changed that, one person at a time. The question was how to reach more people without losing the depth of those conversations.
The answer was to bring people together. In 2022 the first PurposeFest gathered leaders under the theme “I Am Redemptive”. The response showed that the need was real, and that it went far beyond one-to-one coaching.
In 2023 the second season launched the School of Purpose and Impact, the Purpose-Led Leadership Charter and the Global Purpose Coaching Federation. Purpose Coaching International became a federation: a home with standards, where coaches are trained, placed at the right level and recognised for the hours and growth they put in.
Each season since has widened the circle, gathering leaders from business, family life, faith, education, government, media and the arts around a single theme. In 2026 the federation opened its own coaching platform, so members can learn, practise and earn credentials wherever they are.
The work still rests on the conversation it started with: helping one person find out what they were made to do, and then helping them do it well.
